The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Hello everybody. I had a joyous moment today that I had to share with all of you. For 12 years, I have worked in a food bank and emergency center. Many of you have given donations to our ministry, and helped people who have so little.



Each year, I send out a newsletter at the end of the year, and tell a little about what's been going on. I also ask, as gently as possible, if a donation might be made toward the people we help.



I received a response today from a VR member that had my volunteers cheering, and me in tears. It was humbly penned on a quarter sheet of yellow lined sticky note paper. With personal names removed, it reads:



"Yes Yes I CAN wholeheartedly help! I have been so very blessed this year by both circumstances & the people in my life - I would love to share that joy and hope. Thank you for remembering me!"



It was accompanied by a $1,000 donation. I'm a wreck from the sheer sweetness of this individual, by their exuberance, "Yes Yes I CAN wholeheartedly help!" True joy in giving.



Christmas. YOU are doing it right! Thank you so very very much. We are going to help SO many people together!

Love to hear stories like this. It warms my heart. And I am glad there isn't a "Like" button on here. I hope there never is. It forces people to "use their words" and this is a very good thing :) Happy Holidays!
